This Saturday, Radcliffe visit the east coast as we take on Whitby Town with only one point needed to secure the NPL Premier Division title. This article provides information to Boro fans who are looking to attend the fixture, which can be read in full below.

  Payment can be made by cash or card upon entry through the turnstiles, tickets can be purchased online prior to Saturday, however. This fixture is not segregated, therefore both sets of fans will be mixed and can occupy any area of the stadium they’d like to watch the game from.

The Stadium and Refreshments

  The Towbar Express Stadium has a capacity of around 3,500 with plenty of seating and standing areas. Turnstiles 1 & 2 will open at 1:30pm, allowing entry with both pre-paid tickets and by paying on the gate.  

Please note that, to comply with Health & Safety regulations, the stewards are instructed to ensure that everyone in the main stand (all seated) remains seated whilst watching the match, this stand is also a non-smoking area.   

There are two catering outlets inside the ground, one on the west side of the ground to the left of turnstiles 1 & 2, and the other at the Upgang Lane end of the ground, there is also access to Turnbull’s Bar. The snack bars within the stadium will be open to purchase food and drink and is accessible from both the main stand and terraces.  

Directions and Parking  

On entering Whitby from both the A169 & A171 roads, take the first fork and follow signs for West Cliff, then turn Left at the Spar Shop/Garage, go along Love Lane to the Junction of the A174, turn right and the ground is 600 yards on the left.

There is an extremely limited amount of space on the stadium’s official car park, which will more than likely be made full by players and staff, we would advise supporters to seek local council car parks or street parking in non-permit zones.

Parking may be available at the nearby Leisure Centre, just five minutes’ walk away from the ground, there is also pay and display parking available on the West Cliff.

While we understand that there are big circumstances behind this fixture, it’s vital that our travelling fans behave adequately and accordingly, please do not enter the field of play before, during, or after the game.
