Burnley youngster joins on loan

Burnley's teenage striker Michael Fowler joins the club on loan after a successful spell with Padiham.

The Clarets' youngster has been recalled from his work experience spell with Padiham and joins The Boro in a similar capacity for an initial month.

The switch gives Fowler a chance to test himself in the EVO-STIK league West after being a regular goalscorer for Padiham in the North West Counties Premier.

The 18-year-old who is a second-year scholar at Turf Moor will be available for selection for the away trip to Droylsden on Tuesday night.
