Fowls has been very busy while in lockdown bringing in the next crop of Boro players

It is that time of year again as the door is blown off it’s hinges as a new crop of Radcliffe new signings make their way to the Neuven.

Lee Fowler has been very busy during lockdown bringing in some star names as his squad starts to take shape for next season.

In the worst kept secret in non-league Cameron Belford has signed for the Boro replacing Ollie Martin. The former Bury man links back up with Fowler after a previous stint together at Nuneaton. A talented shot-stopper who is good with his feet looking to take the Boro to the next level.

In defence there has been plenty of changes too. Unfortunately, Rick Smith has left the club after a change in work commitments but Fowls has brought in some star names to bolster the defence.

Curtis Obeng has put pen to paper and signed for the Boro. Obeng spent last season on loan at fellow Northern Premier club Ashton United and now is fully ready to help the Boro when the season gets underway.

Jack Shiels has also joined the Boro after a stint in America. An exciting centre back who is looking to continue his growth at the Neuven.

A familiar face to Boro fans is Jo Cummings who has put pen to paper and joined the Boro. Cummings joins after a successful loan spell at the end of last season which saw him put in two man of the match performances as well as grabbing a goal.

As usual there has been plenty going on in midfield at the Neuven. Matty Crothers, Rhian Hellawell, Louis White and Kole Hall have all signed up for another year at the Boro after impressing the boss last season. As well as that Fowls has managed to lure Jonathan Royle to the club. An exciting box to box midfielder who will be looking to grab some goals from the centre of the park.

Another man which has signed on the dotted line is Andy Owens. Owens joins after an impressive spell at Welsh Premier side Airbus. The big man up top will be looking to get the ball rolling very soon as training starts to get back underway.

The club are very excited ahead of next season with plenty still going on around the Neuven Stadium. Fowls’ youthful squad is starting to take place ahead of next campaign!
