David Fitzpatrick puts pen-to-paper at the Neuven Stadium.
Bobby Grant has added a left-sided full back to his defensive ranks.
Our sixth signing of the Summer, and the second signing of today, is left back, David Fitzpatrick.
The 32-year-old is no stranger to non-league football, having featured for the likes of Southport, Altrincham and joins us from National League North side, Chester, however does have a notable amount of appearances in the EFL. He featured in all 46 of Macclesfield’s National League 2017-18 title winning games, he would then go onto make 61 appearances in League Two for the Silkmen, before joining Port Vale in the Summer of 2020. The left back went on to play 22 times for the Valiants, finishing 13th on 60 points alongside now Radcliffe-teammate, Luke Joyce.
David brings experience to our back line, as well as adding international prowess, having played a small number of games for England’s C team in the 2013-14 season. He made three appearances for the youth side, coming up against the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia in two friendlies and an International Challenge Trophy tie.
