Radcliffe FC are pleased to confirm our second new addition of the week, as Lois Maynard agrees terms to join the Club at the expiry of his contract with Oldham Athletic.

Primarily a midfielder but can also fare across the back line, Lois adds experience and versatility to the Boro squad with a successful career to match, helping Salford City gain promotion to League Two via the play-offs in 2019, as well as being a part of the Stockport County side that were crowned champions of the National League in the 2021/22 season, to name a few.

The cousin of Manchester United star Marcus Rashford, 34-year-old Maynard also has Halifax Town, Tranmere Rovers and Solihull Moors among his CV of sides he’s previously featured for, a frequent player at the top end of the National League now ventures into the Northern Premier League to be managed by Bernard and Jonno once more, after playing under the duo at Salford City for two years.

Born in Manchester, Lois has international experience with 20 caps to his name after featuring for Saint Kitts and Nevis, debuting with a 1-0 victory against Andorra in November 2015, he’s since gone on to play in World Cup qualifiers and the CONCACAF Nations League.

He now arrives at the Neuven Stadium raring to go ahead of the new campaign, and we are pleased to have him with us!
