A new forward has been added to our ranks in the form of Hartlepool United attacker, Mikael Ndjoli.

The club are pleased to confirm that we have acquired the services of Mikael Ndjoli from League Two outfit, Hartlepool United on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old joins us having started at youth level in the South with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Watford and Brentford, before beginning his senior career on the coast at Bournemouth.

Loans at Kilmarnock, Gillingham and Motherwell followed, eventually making his way up to the North of England to sign for Barrow. Prolific spells at Aldershot Town and Virginia Beach City gained him a move back up the leagues to Hartlepool United, who he joined last Summer.

Of Congolese descent, Ndjoli arrives at M26 with the aim of boosting the Boro’s play-off push at the business end of the campaign, and will be available for Saturday’s huge fixture against Warrington Town on home soil.

Welcome to the Neuven Stadium, Mikael!
