Rhys Moseley joins the Boro first team after impressing in the academy

Radcliffe FC are delighted to announce the signing of 16-year-old Rhys Moseley. Rhys joins the first team after impressing in the academy after netting seven goals in his first three games of the season.

Moseley also featured in last weeks NPLFA team of the week after another impressive performance against Mossley.

Boro manager Jon Macken is hoping that Moseley will give him another option up top.

“Rhys is a good young prospect who is in the Academy program. he has been training with us for the past few weeks and has really impressed us”

Academy manager Pete Lofthouse believes that this opportunity is everything that Rhys deserves on his recent performances

“Although Rhys is relatively new to the football club it is clear that he has a lot of potential. His attitude and work ethic along with his behaviour have contributed to him being given this excellent opportunity. We hope other academy players will strive to follow his example.”

He is the latest in a long line of academy players to make the step up to the first team.
