Olly Thornley puts pen to paper

Radcliffe FC are delighted to announce the signing of Defender Olly Thornley from Curzon Ashton.

The 22-year-old made his Nash debut back in 2017 after working his way through their youth system before becoming a first team regular.

He links up with Boro manager Lee Fowler for a new challenge as the former Coventry man adds defensive reinforcements to his youthful squad.

He said: "Olly is someone that's been on our radar for some time, since the friendly we played last season.

" With Jack now back, the addition of Tom Miller and Luis Morrison back shortly it was important we wasn't in the same position as previous weeks. We still have Raheem Hanley and Jo Cummings out so it was imperative to improve this area. He will have to fight hard to get into the team."

The imposing defender will be looking to get the ball rolling for the Boro against Basford this weekend.
