Miller joins the club after a brief stint with National League side AFC Fylde. The versatile defender has had spells at Lincoln City, Carlisle United and Bury before heading to the Neuven. The experienced defender will be looking to improve the Boro’s fortunes starting with Saturday against Farsley Celtic.

Fowls has added another midfielder to his ranks by signing Cole. He spent a short period with FC United of Manchester last season. The 27-year-old has also spent time at Tranmere Rovers, Inverness and Fulham. Cole started his career with Manchester United but he failed to make a senior appearance.

Both will be available for selection on Saturday as the Boro face Farsley Celtic in the Emirates FA Cup Second qualifying round.
