The Boro add three new players to boost the squad for the promotion challenge

Jon Macken has boosted his squad by bringing in players across the pitch, a defender midfielder and a forward added to the ranks.

Joining the club are;

Tom Brown- Midfielder- FC United & Stalybridge

Tom joined FC United in the 2014 season and made 74 appearances and scoring 4 goals for The Red Rebels. He then joined Stalybridge Celtic at the start of the 2017/18 season.
Described as a Combative central midfielder who has made 30 appearances for Stalybridge, scoring one goal. Quick and strong in the tackle, Tom is never one to shirk a challenge and is well liked by fans of his previous clubs.


Tom Brown

Lee Neville- Defender- FC United, Trafford, Stalybridge

Lee Neville started at Witton Albion before joining Salford City in 2009. After a season with the Ammies, he joined Oldham Town before joining FC United of Manchester in 2011. He had four seasons at FC United making 184 appearances and scoring nine goals, before returning to Salford in 2015 for a second stint. For The 2015/16 season he joined Hyde United making 25 appearances and scoring twice, before he went to Trafford going onto making 63 appearances and scoring 8. He then joined Stalybridge Celtic and was also on loan at Trafford.


Lee Neville

Leon Wright- Forward- Blackpool, Runcorn Town, Barnton

Signed on Dual terms from Barnton. The Young forward is an up and coming youngster from The North West Counties and the management have been keeping an eye on his development and have now signed him for the Boro. He was previously at Blackpool in the academy and Runcorn Town and joins the frontline which boosts Jon Mackens options. He is in form at the moment and has scored 3 out of 3 in his last few games at Barnton.

Exiting the Club is Liam Wood, who has moved to Trafford and Jimmy Daniels who left on loan to join Rylands will be moving to Australia to play for Sunbury United.

We wish both players well in their career and thank them for their service to the club.
